Background
The Eram Group has identified the need to rationalize the operation of its e-commerce platforms by mutualizing maintenance costs on a single platform for all 3 brands.
Customer request
Eram has entrusted Clever Age with the redesign of the e-commerce system for its “downtown” brands, Eram, Bocage and Mellow Yellow, with 2 complementary focuses. Today’s brands need to put the store back at the heart of the system, by designing an efficient omnichannel system, while maintaining a competitive and profitable model.

Project description
Project Design and Definition :
The initial phase of the project involved the production of a detailed backlog, listing the specific functionalities and requirements of each brand, as well as the Group’s overall needs in terms of sales and customer experience.
The writing of user-stories was essential in translating business requirements into specific tasks and technical functionalities, thus providing a clear framework for the development of the platform.

- The wireframing process visualized and validated the information architecture, user interface and navigation flow, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience.
- Adopting an “Adopt” approach, the project relied on a near-native approach to ensure seamless integration and fluid adoption by users.
Platform design and development :

- The Adobe Commerce Cloud platform has been built around a core model, with 80% of development shared between the three brands, streamlining costs and guaranteeing a consistent customer experience.
- Interfacing with the OMS One Stock solution was implemented to ensure efficient inventory management and optimize logistics operations, contributing to improved product availability and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Particular attention was paid to connecting the Adobe Commerce Cloud platform with external marketplaces, offering brands greater visibility and new sales opportunities.
- A partnership with the Global-E solution was established to handle international management, ensuring efficient expansion of brand activities on a global scale.
- Interfacing with Eram’s information system (IS) was carried out to ensure seamless data integration and efficient management of business processes.
- In addition, an Akeneo based Product Information Management (PIM) system was developed to centralize and efficiently manage product information for the three brands, ensuring consistency in product presentation across sales channels.
Run and Operate the Platform
- After the initial deployment, the Adobe Commerce Cloud platform was put through its paces in a run and operational phase, to guarantee its performance and reliability over the long term.
- Advanced analysis mechanisms were put in place to monitor platform performance, enabling proactive decision-making and real-time adjustments to optimize the user experience.

Areas of differentiation
Interoperability and scalability
Interfacing with third-party solutions such as One Stock and Global-E has ensured seamless interoperability and efficient management of logistics and international operations, boosting brand competitiveness in the global marketplace.
The platform’s modular design, combined with a robust architecture, ensured scalability to support the growth of the brands’ activities and meet future market requirements.
Mutualized Resources
By adopting a core model approach, the project optimized the use of resources by pooling 80% of developments between the three brands, thus rationalizing costs and ensuring consistency in the customer experience.
In short, this project stands out for its near-native approach, core model logic, interoperability with third-party solutions, and agile project management, guaranteeing a high-performance, scalable omnichannel e-commerce platform tailored to the specific needs of the Eram, Bocage and Mellow Yellow brands.
