The initial phase of this ambitious project unveils a 76,000-square-meter retail and lifestyle complex spanning two levels. This vibrant space will host over 170 brands, including 60 restaurants, establishing ROYALMOUNT as the largest concentration of luxury boutiques in the Quebec metropolis. This premium commercial offering is integrated within a LEED Gold certified architectural environment, setting a new benchmark for sustainable construction in Canada.

The district’s design reflects a profound consideration for the contemporary urban experience. An elevated linear park stretching 3 kilometers and a 7,000-square-meter Piazza create dynamic living and meeting spaces, transforming ROYALMOUNT into a true lifestyle destination where commerce seamlessly blends with culture and entertainment.

Carbonleo, a Quebec-based real estate development and management company, asked us to design the digital ecosystem for ROYALMOUNT—North America’s first 100% carbon-neutral mixed-use private development. The brief was clear: to create a digital experience befitting this exceptional, LEED Gold-certified project, encompassing luxury boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and cultural spaces. Our mission was to develop a web platform and mobile application that would enhance the lifestyle offered by ROYALMOUNT, seamlessly integrating innovative technical solutions to facilitate visitor access and parking. The key challenge was to orchestrate a seamless omnichannel experience, enabling visitors to discover the full range of ROYALMOUNT’s offerings—ranging from shops to art exhibitions and cultural events—while benefiting from premium services such as SmartParking.

At the core of this infrastructure, the Ibexa CMS ensures efficient and secure content management, enabling dynamic updating of information across all digital channels. Our choice for the mobile application development was React, thereby guaranteeing a fluid and responsive user experience. It also integrates innovative loyalty and gift card management functionalities, creating a complete digital ecosystem for visitors.

SmartParking: innovation for greater fluidity

A significant innovation within our solution is the SmartParking system, developed in close collaboration with the operator Parknet. This feature revolutionizes the parking experience by automating the entire process through license plate recognition. Users can now enter and exit the parking facility seamlessly, with the system automatically managing billing in the background. This innovation addresses a crucial challenge of traffic flow optimization while providing users with a premium experience aligned with the ROYALMOUNT brand.
