Clever Age Vietnam is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager with a strong sales and marketing background in the IT industry, specifically within the Asian market. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the operational and sales activities of Clever Age Vietnam, driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects. The General Manager will work closely with the CEO and CFO, providing regular updates and contributing to the strategic direction of the company in the region. Furthermore, the General Manager will oversee daily operations, lead and manage personnel, manage financial resources, supervise production/service delivery, and direct marketing efforts to achieve peak performance and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Marketing Management:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to develop and implement a strategic plan for Clever Age Vietnam aligned with the overall group strategy, with a strong focus on the Asian market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, leverage existing networks and build new relationships to generate leads.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, proactively engaging with potential clients and partners across the Asian region to expand the client base to secure new projects.
- Oversee the preparation of compelling proposals, contract negotiations and sales materials tailored to the Asian market.
- Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular reports to the leadership team on sales activities and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team (locally and globally) to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns targeting the Asian audience.
- Represent Clever Age Vietnam at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build strategic alliances.
- Collaborate with the CEO and CFO on long-term strategic planning and market entry strategies for the broader Asian market.
2. Team Management and Development:
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization across projects. Represent Clever Age Vietnam professionally in all interactions with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage employee performance, including setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs of employees and implement plans to enhance their skills and knowledge. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain talented IT professionals to support the growth of the Vietnam office.
- Ensure all administrative processes such as contract management and invoicing are properly handled.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the Clever Age Vietnam team. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
3. Financial Management and Reporting:
- Develop and manage the annual budget and the financial performance of Clever Age Vietnam, ensuring financial targets are met, aligning with the overall group financial objectives.
- Estimate the budget required for internal operations and employee development initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance against budget, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide financial forecasts and activity previews for the upcoming year.
- Provide comprehensive reports on sales activities, project status, financial performance, and market developments during weekly meetings for the CEO and CFO
- Communicate effectively with the global Clever Age team to ensure alignment and collaboration.
4. Company Representation:
- Represent Clever Age Vietnam professionally in all interactions with clients, partners, business partnerships, and interactions with other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networkings in Vietnam and the region.
- Be authorized to sign administrative documents on behalf of the company, as required by state regulations or banking procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
- Significant experience (minimum 8-10 years) in a leadership or managemen role within an IT services or consulting company, with a proven track record of success in sales and marketing within the IT industry
- Strong understanding of various IT technologies and service offerings
- Demonstrable experience in managing IT projects and teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial reporting

- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
- Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is a significant plus
- Familiarity with the cultural and business nuances of the Asian market is highly desirable
