Hyvä announces the arrival of its Hyvä Commerce product

On 31 October 2024, Hyvä announced the imminent arrival of its next product, Hyva Commerce, which will add a host of new features to Magento 2 Open Source, particularly in the area of marketing.

We’re going to take a closer look at this great news.

Hyvä is well known in the Magento ecosystem. Since 2020, it has created several products to improve the Magento front office experience, which can currently be seen on more than 4,250 online sites. It has worked with more than 800 partner agencies, including Clever Age, which is one of them under the ‘Silver’ label.

Today, their Hyvä Theme product is one of the benchmarks for enabling e-tailers to achieve the best possible web performance through Core Web Vitals.

Hyvä’s products are based on Magento, which has never been so mature. Magento is now one of the best e-commerce platforms on the market. Adobe is offering an enhanced version: Adobe Commerce, while supporting Magento 2 Open Source and keeping it secure and high-performance.

The Magento ecosystem is also complemented by a wide range of third-party editors and modules, as well as a growing number of experts on the solution.

Hyvä notes, however, that Magento 2 Open Source is stagnating: there are no new features and key marketing functions are reserved for the Adobe Commerce version. This means that it is not easy to meet the new needs demanded by the evolution of the e-merchant business, such as social login, a menu editor, product relations or merchandising and reporting tools.

In partnership with payment solution provider Mollie, Hyvä is announcing the imminent arrival of the ‘Hyvä Commerce’ offering, which will complement Magento 2 Open Source with the addition of functions primarily dedicated to marketing, and will improve both the front-office and back-office experience.

Development is underway and the content will be announced shortly via a roadmap, with a beta programme due to start in early 2025.

Hyvä Commerce will be an easy-to-deploy solution combining Magento 2, Hyvä Theme, Hyvä Checkout and their new features. It will be sold via an annual licence, which they promise will be affordable.

We can’t wait to see what’s on the roadmap, but there’s no doubt that Hyvä Commerce could be an interesting solution to study for certain e-retailers who want to improve their web performance with a single solution and have more features to enhance their business.
